Youth and Parent Substance Abuse Program
The Substance Abuse Program offers teens a dynamic and safe place to discuss the impact of drug use, alcohol use, or other substance abuse. In this weekly program, you will be encouraged to process your feelings, an important part of understanding why you have turned to substance abuse. You will also learn some of the consequences to substance abuse that you may never have anticipated, and learn to be accountable for your behavior. It may be time to reconsider old thinking patterns and develop new ones. Most enrolled in this program will have experienced a community intervention, but all teens are welcome. Family participation is required, and the program is conducted in a group format.
